Iran (IMNA) - "We are certainly not seeking a ceasefire; we believe that we must strike the aggressor in the mouth so that they learn a lesson and never think of aggression against our dear Iran again," Qalibaf said in a post on his X account on Tuesday.
He further emphasized that the Zionist regime perceives its precarious existence as reliant on the ongoing cycle of “war—negotiation—ceasefire—and then war again” to reinforce its dominance. “We will break this cycle,” he asserted.
Following the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28, the US and the Zionist regime initiated a large-scale military campaign against Iran.
The assaults have included extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian sites throughout Iran, resulting in significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces have conducted operations targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and regional bases, employing waves of missiles and drones.
