Iran (IMNA) - Araghchi made the remarks on Thursday while attending a specialized exhibition on green technologies and clean energy at the Isfahan International Exhibition Center. He described recent scientific progress in Isfahan province in the fields of renewable energy and the transition away from fossil fuels as highly encouraging.
He noted that renewable energy has become one of the world’s top priorities, adding that the active involvement of Iranian companies in this sector, alongside their access to advanced technologies, demonstrates Iran’s strong scientific capabilities and competitiveness at the global level.
The foreign minister also pointed to the positive outlook for joint public- and private-sector investment in clean energy, stressing that the ministry considers it its responsibility to facilitate technology transfer and enhance scientific cooperation between Iranian universities and well-known international institutions.
Expressing satisfaction with companies that have successfully reached the export stage, Araghchi emphasized that the Foreign Ministry’s economic diplomacy department will provide full support to these firms.
He identified facilitating the participation of Iranian technology companies in international exhibitions, helping establish links with foreign partners, and marketing knowledge-based products as key priorities, saying these measures will help pave the way for high-quality Iranian products to enter global markets.
Araghchi’s one-day visit to Isfahan aimed at coordination and consultation with the province’s executive and economic authorities and included several programs, among them a meeting with economic stakeholders at the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce.
