Pezeshkian Calls for Enhanced Iran–Turkey Cooperation to Boost Regional Stability

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations with Turkey, describing closer cooperation as vital for ensuring regional stability and development.

Iran (IMNA) - In a congratulatory message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people of Turkey on the occasion of their National Day, Pezeshkian underscored that expanding cooperation between the two countries holds increasing importance under current regional circumstances.

He noted that deeper collaboration between Tehran and Ankara would serve the stability, security, and progress of both nations and the wider region.

Highlighting the historical ties and numerous shared interests between the Iranian and Turkish peoples, the president expressed hope that through joint efforts and continued dialogue, bilateral relations would further develop across economic, political, cultural, and international fields.
