Iranian Nuclear Officials Stand Firm Against Pressure, Committed Until Threats Cease

Iran’s nuclear chief, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), has pledged that the Islamic Republic will not yield to bullying powers’ excessive demands on its peaceful nuclear energy program. Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran on National Journalist Day, Eslami emphasized, “The Iranian nation is not one to surrender to bullying.”

Iran (IMNA) - Despite efforts by the West and its allies to impose double standards and block Iran’s access to advanced scientific fields, the nation remains resilient. Eslami described these efforts as characteristic of hegemonic powers that spend huge sums to deprive Iran of nuclear and modern technologies. He highlighted how this attitude was evident not only in actions against Iran’s nuclear program but also in crimes committed against Palestinians, noting, “By violating the United Nations Charter, they have proven that the law of the jungle governs the world.”

Eslami referenced the Israeli and US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June, which caused damage and took the lives of Iranian nuclear scientists during a 12-day unprovoked war following an unfounded International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resolution. He condemned the resolution as driven by the Zionist entity, stating, “If their claims were true, they should have presented clear evidence,” which no IAEA investigation has verified. He called these baseless accusations a cover to hinder Iran’s scientific progress.

The official also criticized the double standards where no Western allies question Israel’s undeclared military nuclear capabilities, despite Israel not being a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) or under IAEA safeguards. He urged the UN nuclear watchdog to strongly condemn the assassination of Iran’s nuclear scientist.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, AEOI spokesman, described the situation as “a war of willpower” and stressed the need for vigilance until all threats to Iran’s nuclear program are removed, warning, “We went through a difficult 12-day period, and until the threat is completely removed, we must remain alert.”
