President Masoud Pezeshkian Urges Resilience Amid Economic Sanctions

In a rallying call to the Iranian people, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the need for unity and resilience in the face of economic sanctions and military threats.

Iran (IMNA) - Speaking at an event west of Tehran on Thursday, Pezeshkian stated, “The only way to success is to have the willpower and follow the path of practical action.” He encouraged citizens not to fear sanctions, asserting, “Let's assume Iran is the only country in the world… Can't we stand on our own two feet?”

Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of leveraging the capabilities of the nation’s elite, teachers, and producers to navigate current challenges. “If we value those who strive for the progress of the country, we can robustly build Iran,” he added. He expressed confidence that no external power could threaten Iran if there is a shift in mindset among its youth. “Technology and science are in the minds of our youths… This is the belief that must be created in society,” he remarked.

The president also called for a strengthened work ethic among managers, urging them to focus on resolving people's problems rather than making excuses. He concluded by stating that without proactive measures, progress would remain elusive, emphasizing that collective responsibility lies with the leadership: “If anyone is to be blamed for the economic problems, it’s us—the heads of the three branches of government.” ‌‌‌‌
