Iran (IMNA) - Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), and senior officials from the nuclear industry attended the launch ceremony. The new IRF6 production line will enrich and separate the IR-191 isotope, which is used in medical and industrial applications.
With this launch, Iran is now among the few countries that can produce Hexafluoride Iridium (IRF6). The country has become self-sufficient in producing IrF6, joining a few world countries possessing the technology. This achievement strengthens Iran’s domestic capabilities and allows for potential exports.
