Iran's Foreign Minister Emphasizes Shared Cultural Heritage with Egypt

After a visit to historical and religious sites in Cairo on Friday, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi highlighted the deep-rooted common identity and culture shared by Iran and Egypt.

Iran (IMNA) - In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Araghchi expressed that this bond is anchored in history and has been further strengthened by the advent of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Reflecting on his interactions with the Egyptian people, Araghchi noted that such engagements have always evoked happy memories for him. His visit to Egypt coincided with participation in the D-8 Summit alongside Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who also visited the country for the summit.

Araghchi's remarks underscore a significant aspect of Iran-Egypt relations, emphasizing their historical ties and cultural connections amidst ongoing diplomatic efforts to enhance bilateral relations.
