Iran (IMNA) - This statement follows Iran's recent missile attack on Israel, which was a retaliation for ongoing Israeli operations and the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
Bagheri emphasized that the Iranian nation and the Axis of Resistance have endured a challenging two months due to escalating violence from Israel, which he claims has been supported by the United States. He noted that Iran's missile operation successfully struck key military installations of the Israeli regime, including Mossad headquarters and several airbases.
In his remarks, Bagheri clarified that while Iran's attacks were aimed at military targets, they deliberately avoided civilian infrastructure and casualties. He warned that if the Israeli regime continues its "madness," Iran would respond with even greater force, targeting all necessary infrastructures.
The Iranian missile strike on Tuesday night involved over 180 missiles, with reports indicating that around 90% successfully hit their intended targets. This operation was framed as a direct response to the recent assassinations of key figures associated with Iran and its allies, including Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
As tensions escalate, both Iran and Israel are bracing for potential further conflict, with each side preparing for possible retaliatory actions.
