Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Arrives in the U.S. with Message of Peace

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Monday, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic's message is one of **peace, security, and development for all**.

Iran (IMNA) - He was greeted by Iranian diplomats, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who had arrived in New York on Friday night.

In his remarks, Pezeshkian stated, "Instead of bloodshed, war, and killing, we must create a world where all people can live comfortably regardless of their color, race, ethnicity, and place of origin." He expressed concern over the current global landscape, highlighting the existence of **double standards** that prevent equitable opportunities for all.

Pezeshkian is in New York to participate in the **79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)**. He is scheduled to deliver a speech on Tuesday, September 24, outlining the Islamic Republic's positions on various international issues. Additionally, he plans to engage in multiple meetings, including one with Iranian expatriates in the United States and discussions with high-ranking officials from different countries.

The UNGA session will officially commence on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, with the high-level General Debate beginning on September 24.
