Iran's FM Vows to Support Palestine 'Until the End' in Face of Israeli Genocidal War

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed his unwavering support for the Palestinian people, hailing their 11-month-long resistance against Israel's brutal military onslaught.

Iran (IMNA) - In a phone call with Hamas's deputy Political Bureau chief Khalil al-Hayya, Araghchi pledged that Iran would continue to stand by the Palestinians "until the end" and urged a ceasefire agreement that meets the approval of the Palestinian people and resistance.

The Iranian diplomat also praised the Palestinian people's steadfastness in the face of Israeli atrocities, saying that "final victory" belongs to them. He emphasized that Iran would continue to support the Palestinian cause, just as his predecessor Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had done before him.

The call comes amid a devastating war on Gaza that has claimed the lives of at least 40,476 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounded another 93,647. The Israeli regime launched the war in response to a retaliatory operation by Gaza's resistance groups, and has since rejected several truce proposals put forward by Hamas.

Al-Hayya congratulated Araghchi on his recent appointment as Foreign Minister, and Araghchi expressed his gratitude for the support. The Iranian diplomat also underlined that Tehran would support any agreement that leads to a ceasefire and cessation of the war on Gaza, as long as it meets the approval of the Palestinian people and resistance.
