Iran Sees No Limits to Expanding Ties with Africa, Criticizes Israeli Aggression

Iran’s caretaker Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, expressed the country's commitment to expanding ties with African nations, stating that there are no limits to the development of relations.

Iran (IMNA) - The comment came during a meeting with Somalia's Foreign Minister, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

According to Bagheri Kani, Iran places great importance on its relations with African countries and believes that Islamic nations should strengthen their ties based on shared interests and countering common enemies. The Iranian foreign minister also criticized the Israeli regime, labeling it a threat to the Palestinian people and the entire Islamic world.

Somalia's Foreign Minister, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, condemned Israeli aggression against the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He praised Iran's role in supporting the Palestinian cause and defending the rights of the Palestinian people.
