Iran (IMNA) - According to reports, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Palestinian Hamas resistance group, and Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.
The Leader credited the Palestinian resistance movement for providing a platform for the further promotion of Islam, stating that the increasing trend towards Islam is a testament to the glory and grandeur of the Palestinian nation and Gaza's people. He also expressed hope that Palestinians and resistance forces will continue to receive divine assistance.
Haniyeh commended Iran's unwavering support for Palestine and the resistance movement, while Nakhalah hailed the unity among Palestinian resistance forces, saying it has led to cooperation across the region at its highest level.
The remarks come as the situation in Gaza has reached a critical stage after 300 days of conflict with Israel, with both sides vying for control. The Palestinian people and resistance fighters are pushing to establish their heroism and victory against Israeli aggression.
