Iran Warns Tel Aviv: End Gaza War to Avoid Regional Escalation

Iran's top diplomat, Kamal Kharrazi, has urged Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to end the brutal war in the Gaza Strip to prevent a regional conflict. Kharrazi, head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, stated that Israel's claims about the recent incident in the occupied Golan Heights are a repetition of previous false claims, including the bombing of Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza that killed 500 civilians.

Iran (IMNA) - Kharrazi pointed out that it is unlikely that Hezbollah, an ally of Syria, would attack the loyal residents of the Syrian Golan, and instead accused Israel of spreading conspiracy theories. He emphasized that the best solution for Netanyahu is to end the war in Gaza, as expanding it will only lead to further chaos and destruction.

This warning comes as tensions between Israel and Hezbollah escalate, with the Lebanese Resistance movement warning against any Tel Aviv move to widen the war. The movement has been conducting regular attacks against Israeli military positions in retaliation for Israeli offensives against Gaza and southern Lebanon.

The Iranian diplomat's remarks also echoed his previous statements, where he warned that if Israel launches a full-scale offensive against Hezbollah, it will trigger a regional war that could involve Tehran and other members of the "Axis of Resistance". He urged the US to put pressure on Israel to prevent further escalation.

The situation remains tense, with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) receiving a warning from Hezbollah against any Israeli aggression. The Lebanese Resistance movement has been fighting back against Israeli military positions in response to Israel's siege on Gaza, which has left over two million Palestinians without access to basic necessities like fuel, electricity, food, and water.
