Death Toll in Israeli Attacks on Gaza Strip Reaches 37,834, Ministry Reports

A devastating milestone has been reached in the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip, as the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks has surpassed 37,834 since October 2023.

Iran (IMNA) - According to the latest figures, a total of 86,858 people have been injured in the violence.

In the past day alone, at least 40 Palestinians were killed and 224 injured in Israeli airstrikes and military operations across Gaza. The true extent of the casualties is likely much higher, with thousands feared buried under the rubble of buildings destroyed in the attacks.

The conflict escalated on October 7 when Israel launched a genocidal war on Gaza in response to a Palestinian operation carried out by the Hamas Resistance group against Israeli forces. The Israeli military has imposed a severe blockade on the territory, cutting off essential services such as fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with widespread devastation and humanitarian crises unfolding daily. The international community has called for an end to the violence and a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
