Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Arrives in Iraq for High-Level Talks

Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani arrived in Baghdad, Iraq, on Wednesday for a series of high-level meetings with top officials from the central government and the Kurdistan region.

Iran (IMNA) - Upon his arrival at Baghdad airport, Bagheri Kani was officially welcomed by Mohammad Hossein Bahrul Uloom, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iraq.

During his visit, Bagheri Kani is expected to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues, including the situation in Gaza. The talks are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Iraq. Ahead of his visit, Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-e-Sadeq, met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani on Wednesday to explore ways to boost cooperation between the two countries.
