Iran (IMNA) - In Pakistan, thousands participated in rallies, carrying Pakistani and Palestinian flags and condemning Israel's ongoing atrocities in Gaza and other parts of Palestine. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed solidarity with Palestinians and urged the international community to pressure Israel to halt its aggression.
Similar demonstrations were held in Indian-administered Kashmir, where public rallies have become scarce since August 2019. Thousands of Iraqis protested in Baghdad and other major cities, while tens of thousands of Yemenis gathered in Sana'a to support Palestinians.
Lebanese citizens marched in Beirut and Sidon, emphasizing the importance of Quds Day for all Muslims and Arabs. Bahraini protesters symbolically stepped on US and Israeli flags, chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans.
In London, crowds carried Palestinian flags and signs expressing support for the oppressed. The rallies come amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the deaths of at least 33,091 people and injured 75,750 others, mostly women and children. Despite these losses, Israel has failed to achieve its objectives in the conflict.
