Iran (IMNA) - Raeisi made these remarks during the virtual Al-Quds Pulpit ceremony, held simultaneously in Tehran, Damascus, Sana'a, Beirut, and Baghdad. The operation, he said, was a reaction to years of Israeli devastation, oppression, and savagery amid the indifference and silence of human rights organizations. Raeisi emphasized that the course of the Palestinian battle is divided into before and after the operation. He added that the Israeli regime faces a wide array of challenges in the political and military fields, with the Palestinian will dominating the multi-layered defense systems of the Zionists.
The Iranian president also highlighted that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm has sidelined humiliating peace plans to settle the conflict, proving that no plan for the future of Palestinian land can be implemented without the consent of its owners. Furthermore, Raeisi stated that Israel's atrocities have awakened global public opinion and even those allied with the Israeli regime, as evidenced by massive pro-Palestine protests in many countries.
In response to the recent Israeli attack on the consular section of Iran's embassy in Damascus, Raeisi vowed that the "brave men of the resistance front" will punish the regime, describing the attack as a peak of frustration and helplessness from the Israeli regime. Raeisi reaffirmed Iran's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to be a supporter of resistance and emphasize the legitimacy of the Palestinian people in their struggle against the occupying enemy.
