President Raeisi Condemns Moscow Terror Attack, Calls for Global Action Against Terrorism
Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi has expressed his condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people over the tragic loss of innocent lives in the terrorist incident in Moscow. In a message to Putin, Raeisi strongly condemned the attack on the concert hall and offered support to Russia's efforts to maintain national security.
Raeisi also urged the international community to take serious action against the perpetrators of the attack and emphasized the need for united efforts to combat terrorism. Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, had previously condemned the attack and called for global action against terrorism on Friday night.
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported that the shooting and fire took place at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. According to preliminary data, at least 60 people, including three children, were killed, and over 110 were injured. The Russian Investigative Committee later confirmed 93 deaths and 107 hospitalized individuals, with five children among them.
Chinese President Xi Jinping also expressed condolences and denounced terrorism in any form, as world leaders unite in condemning the attack and emphasizing the importance of a united front against terrorism.
