Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Ashtiani emphasized Iran's substantial capabilities in manufacturing aircraft and overhauling aircraft, particularly in relation to its military relations with Russia, Turkey, and other countries. He also noted that the export of defense products has increased by four to five times compared to the previous two years, with future growth expected due to ongoing innovations and the development of new weapons. Ashtiani added that Iran has achieved self-sufficiency in producing drone engines and aims to advance further in manufacturing heavier engines.

Ashtiani also announced Iran's plans to make substantial progress in the space sector starting from the next Iranian calendar year, beginning on March 20, 2024.

They have also reaffirmed that Iran's defense capabilities will not be subject to negotiations. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has consistently encouraged efforts to improve Iran's defense capabilities.
