Iran (IMNA) - During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian noted that after over 40 days of aggression, the Israeli regime lacks a coherent strategy in its war on Gaza. He quoted the minister as stating, "The Resistance groups are skillfully increasing pressure on the Zionists and their supporters, with untapped potential yet to be activated."
Amir-Abdollahian's presence aimed to update lawmakers on the latest developments in Gaza and the Foreign Ministry's efforts to halt Israeli aggression against Palestinians. The foreign minister also highlighted the growing international support for the oppressed people of Gaza, which has put both the regime and its primary supporter, the United States, in a precarious position concerning the Palestine issue.
To compel the regime to cease its brutal attacks on Palestinians, Resistance groups in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen continue to launch targeted strikes against Israeli and US interests in the region.
According to the health ministry in Gaza, since October 7, the strikes have claimed the lives of at least 12,300 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. Additionally, nearly 30,000 Palestinians have been injured.
