In a recent phone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani exchanged views on the ongoing conflict in Palestine and the Gaza Strip. The foreign ministers emphasized the urgent need to halt the war crimes committed by the Israeli regime and provide immediate humanitarian aid to the besieged territory.

Iran (IMNA) - The discussion focused on the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, highlighting the ongoing genocide and the plight of the homeless Palestinian population. Both sides stressed the importance of immediate action to stop the aggression and ensure the delivery of aid to those in need.

Additionally, the diplomats addressed the latest developments regarding efforts and diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending the brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza.

Furthermore, the issue of bombing the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza was also discussed during the conversation between the two foreign ministers.

Israel launched an offensive against Gaza on October 7th following a surprise operation by the Palestinian group Hamas, known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. This operation was in response to the increased aggression by the Israeli government towards the Palestinian population.

The health ministry in Gaza has reported that the strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 11,250 Palestinians, with the majority being women and children.

Furthermore, Tel Aviv has implemented a comprehensive blockade on Gaza, depriving over two million Palestinians of essential resources such as fuel, electricity, food, and water.
