Iran (IMNA) - In response to the escalating violence, Iran has called for an urgent meeting with the foreign ministers of OIC member states, seeking immediate action to address the dire situation. The specific goals of the meeting were discussed in a message exchange between Amir-Abdollahian and his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan.
The primary focus of the meeting is to put an end to the Zionist regime's atrocities against civilians in Gaza. Additionally, efforts will be made to ensure the provision of essential supplies such as water, food, medicine, and fuel to the affected areas. Lastly, strong measures will be taken to counter the forced displacement of people in the region by the Israeli regime.
During discussions with the Saudi Arabian foreign minister, both parties agreed on the necessity of issuing a powerful resolution by all participating members. This resolution aims to mobilize global collective action in order to halt the ongoing human rights violations, genocide, and massacres committed by the Israeli regime.
The international community is urged to unite and take decisive action to address this grave humanitarian crisis and prevent further loss of innocent lives in Gaza.
