According to deputy science minister Hashem Dadashpour, the option for students from Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria to stay during their studies is already accessible in some locations and will soon be offered throughout the country.

Students from other countries, including Afghanistan, are awarded a three-year residency visa beginning in their second year of study, and students from this nation can enter and exit Iran without difficulty, he stated.

More than 100,000 international students from 119 countries attend Iranian colleges, and 94 of the country's institutions have permission to enroll foreign students.

These students are pursuing studies in a variety of science majors as well as field of studies including humanities, Islamic sciences, Persian language and literature, law, the principles of Islamic law, management disciplines, economics, psychology, and social sciences.
