Iran (IMNA) - The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday between Alireza Paymanpak, the head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), and Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, the Chief Executive Officer of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), on the sidelines of an Iranian trade fair in Karachi, Pakistan.
According to an article published on the TPO website, the agreement enables enterprises to boost their participation in trade events hosted in Iran and Pakistan while also permitting the interchange of commercial information between the two nations.
As indicated in the report, the MoU will also make it easier for Iran and Pakistan to exchange trade delegations and specialists. It also stated that both countries' trade agencies would be required to offer training sessions for companies engaged in bilateral trade as part of the deal.
The head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization hoped that by signing the agreement, Iran and Pakistan will quickly achieve their goal of $5 billion in bilateral trade.
