Iran (IMNA) - Mojhgan Yazdianpour continued, “The consortium of Isfahan universities and Isfahan Science & Technology Town has been set up with the aim of strengthening international relations and globalizing the measures of the consortium members.”
She continued, "This consortium includes five members; Isfahan University of Technology, University of Isfahan, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Art University of Isfahan and Isfahan Science & Technology Town are the members of this consortium, each has had effective international relations. These members are supposed to coordinate their activities in the form of a consortium to help advance international communications in Isfahan so that they can make more use of each other's capacities.”
Pointing out that the city of Isfahan has very good international capacities, the director of the International Scientific and cooperation Center at Isfahan Science & Technology Town added, “Isfahan has great potentials in the fields of tourism, science and technology, which helps to promote the activities of the consortium; these beating potentials are a valuable capability for Isfahan."
The director of the International Scientific and cooperation Center at Isfahan Science & Technology Town said, "realization of the Citizen Diplomat project takes time and effort; by implementing this action plan, there will be an opportunity to use all the windows of opportunity available in various fields for the development of Isfahan's international relations.”
She ended, “citizen diplomats can act as ambassadors for Isfahan to introduce the city's valuable attractions, capabilities and potentials in other countries, especially in sister cities.”
Citizen Diplomat seeks to identify the distinguished citizens, including businessmen, professors, athletes, students, cultural and media activists, Iranians abroad and those who have appropriate and authorized platforms to introduce and strengthen Isfahan's brand and capacities in sister cities and countries where they live in order to take actions in enhancing the cultural, artistic, economic and scientific relations.
