Iran (IMNA) - Stating that the structure of the urban observatory is inter-institutional, Alireza Sadeghian said, "In multiple think tank meetings attended by representatives of executive bodies and non-governmental organizations, we came to the conclusion that the observatory should have an inter-institutional structure."
He added, "Based on a joint memorandum of cooperation, the University of Isfahan will provide the municipality with a suitable space for the design and implementation of the urban observatory, and the municipality will equip and provide the necessary financial and human resources."
The Deputy Mayor of Isfahan for Planning and Human Capital Development expressed hope that the urban observatory project will be put into service by the end of this year. The department will be able to provide the necessary information for managers and urban planners, as well as researchers and the general public by continuously monitoring key urban indicators.
