Iran (IMNA) - Emphasizing that the Municipality of Isfahan has joined the "Sustainable Smart Cities Network", Norouzi continued, "the network, based in Korea, is the ninth global network that we have joined in line with the city's smartening up policy; it indicates the strong diplomacy of Isfahan Municipality."
The mayor said, “In the past weeks, the necessary information and conditions have been provided regarding the electronic services that citizens can take advantage of, especially in the field of electronic urban engineering.”
He went on to say that, "Currently, 34 urban planning services have been provided electronically on this website, which will soon be increased to 100 services. "
"I have always been looking for E-municipality and today Isfahan is moving towards smart city; by implementing the electronization project of services we will no longer witness the accumulation of citizens in the municipality and people will use the internet to perform municipal affairs from home," the mayor of Isfahan noted.
Norouzi said, "Undoubtedly, the value of taking action to launch a website to provide electronic services is no less than the construction of large urban bridges, large traffic control rings and subways because it brings peace, comfort and satisfaction to citizens.”
The mayor of Isfahan ended, "Fortunately, Isfahan is the main member of 9 international networks, including the network of creative cities, and today we are able to introduce this city in the international forums."
