Iran (IMNA) – "April 23 is celebrated as the Memorial Day of Sheikhbahaee and the day of Iranian architecture. Therefore, it is planned to run an exhibition of sketch, Rando, and plan of Isfahan's historical monuments by enjoying the artworks of students and masters in architecture major," the director of Hermes gallery said.
Pointing to the purposes of holding the gallery, Mohammad Ali Farokhnejad noted, "Visual arts like painting, designing, and calligraphy are always present in Isfahan's galleries, we are less likely to see the architecture students and architectures' artworks in this regard; actually, the architecture engineering approach has dominated its artistic perspective; that's why most architecture students and graduates are entering the architectural and urban planning fields."
Saying that we are trying to be pioneer and active in the artistic perspective of architecture, he added, "An important aspect of architecture is art and its artistic part. The exhibition will be held by inviting architectures to galleries in order to let them present with more highlighted role in the space and display their artworks as well."
"The call of the exhibition was announced, and enthusiasts can send their works until April 14," he also said.
