Iran (IMNA) – "Isfahan has been a pioneer in the county regarding the establishment of sister-cities relations and maintenance of international affairs ," Seyed Ramezan Shojaee Kiasari said.
"Isfahan has gained the title of "Child-friendly city" in Iran due to its having potential capacities; Whenever Will Parks visits Isfahan, he recounts the unique characteristics of this metropolis with passion and excitement," he added
Saying that in the first national conference on child-friendly city, two main matters of "Eliminating Children's Threats" and "Creating Happy Spaces in the Society" were proposed, he said, "During a same conference in Mashhad, Will Parks emphasized that if an earthquake happens in cities, how we can save children's lives who are the original resources of the society; our first duty is protecting the society's future builders."
"Capacities that are neglected in other countries, should be taken into account in our cities. We should provide children with a safe haven through creating vital spaces, children's park, secure transportation, creative games, and also children's museums and libraries," he also noted.
