Isfahan (IMNA) – "Research studies, taking advantage from the experts' opinions and monitoring water, soil, and pests are the most important factors effecting the quality of soil resources for plants and green spaces," Ardeshir Khosravi said.
"In order to have control over the quality of the soil resources and plant more, we need monitoring programs in certain time intervals; these controls should be carried out by a team of experts," he added.
"Using wastewater in the green space of the fruit and vegetable market is only for maintaining the greenery of the environment, we require more studies in this regard to develop the green space," he said regarding the impact of using wastewater for the green space of the fruit and vegetable market.
Saying that observing the standards and the continuous monitoring are necessary actions, he noted, "Investigation and monitoring of both soil and water should be carried out simultaneously and it is suggested that high water requirement plants should be replaced with drought tolerant plants ."
The seminar of "investigating the reason for sudden dying of plants in the green space of the fruit and vegetable market of Isfahan, and the quality examination of wastewater and its effect on physiological disorders of the plants" was held in park and green space organization.
