Isfahan (IMNA) - The world famous Arab journalist George Kurdahi, on Monday 8-10-2018 arrived to Sulaymaniyah international airport. On the evening of the same day he was welcomed by the manager of the Sulaymaniyah International Film Festival Fuad Jalal along with a number of officials of different sections of the festival to Masti Film Company’s office in Sulaymaniyah city.
During George Kurdahi’s talk with the manager of the Sulaymaniyah International Film Festival he said: At the beginning I would like to thank the manager of this festival for this invitation, I am very pleased to see myself in Sulaymaniyah Film Festival, I’ve always been with Kurdistan and have empathized with your Kurdish national issues and I’m entirely aware of the Kurdish matter and I’m very glad to see my kin in the cities of Sulaymaniyah, Hawler, Duhok, and any other part of the Kurdistan region.
Adding, I call on the Arabic media to care about the Sulaymaniyah International Film Festival, also care more about the Kurdistan region and broadcast this artistic important event. At the end of his words he said, I hope the Arabic media stop broadcasting news of war and start broadcasting the Sulaymaniyah International Film Festival activities along with other cultural and artistic news.
