Isfahan (IMNA) - Born in Isfahan in 1950, Ghokasian was graduated from the University of Isfahan in chemistry. His mother's passion led him to become interested in cinema. Twentyfour books about Iran's cinema and hundreds of articles and film reviews and critiques have remained from him. He was the member of the judging panels in a number of film festivals in Iran, Austria and Armenia. He passed away at the age of 65 in his home in Isfahan following a long battle with stomach cancer.
