Isfahan (IMNA) - "This year, the International Film Festival for Children and Youth will be held from August 30 to September 5 in Chaharbagh Pardis cinema, Sahel cinema, and City Center. Three halls of each complex and a total of nine, are provided for the festival," Mahdi Sajjadzadeh said.
Referring the opening ceremony of this festival, he added, "The opening ceremony of this edition will be held in August 30 in Eid al-Ghadir-Khumm's day; we are trying to have a public ritual. Films will be displayed from August 31."
"This year, the number of international reporters has been increased and the families of the martyrs of the resistance from different countries will accompany us. The names of the judges will be announced in a few days from which four are Isfahani who are fluent in English," Sajjadzadeh said.
"In addition to other parts of the festival, we also projected the Zaven award for the first time. To choose the deserved movie for Zaven award we formed a 15-member council, from which five were selected as the jury who will watch long Iranian movies and choose one of them that is deserved to take the Zaven award in the closing ceremony," he also said.
