Isfahan (IMNA) - The first round of the women's handball championship of the country at the age range of "under-23" was finished with the championship of Isfahan team. In final matches of these competitions that was held in the Sajadi handball hall of Isfahan, Isfahan and Fars teams competed against one another; at the end, Isfahan team defeat Fars team with the result of 27-17, and won the champion cup.
Also, in the ranking competition, Qom team defeated Alborz team with the result of 23-17 and stood on the third place. This tournament was held in 4 groups from July 14th, with the participation of the teams from Alborz, Fars, Isfahan, Foulad Mobareke Sepahan, Hamedan, the west Azarbaijan, Bafegh, Boushehr, Tehran, Kerman, Sanandaj, Qom, Shahin Shahr, Malayer, Qazvin, and Gachsaran.
