Hassan Shafiei stated in an interview IMNA: " Holding Men's and women's beach handball matches is one of the most important and most sensitive sport competitions in the Cultural Week of Isfahan in Nazhvan, and will be held with the cooperation of the Cultural-Social Sports Organization of the municipality of Isfahan."
He stated that in the past, people enjoy performing fine art of Qalamkari (hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile) and Sofr-e-Shooyi (the art of washing the Qalamkari cretonne) beside the Zayandehrood River. He also added that: "Given that performing the art of qalamkari needed water, this activity was carried out beside the Zayanderood River, but for various reasons the location of performing this art has been moved to other places; however in the Cultural Week of Isfahan, artists vivify the art of qalamkari and Sofr-e-Shooyi with the presence of citizens and tourists around the Rooyesh garden.
He pointed that this attractive event will be held from the next three days for a week in the morning to illustrate the old days of Isfahan. Shafiee added: "In the Cultural Week of Esfahan, an attractive nostalgia will be resurrected by holding a variety of cultural and sports programs. He stated that the 1200 Hectare area of Nazhvan is one of the few coastal parks of Isfahan which has been kept safe from the urban expansion project and also provides a fresh air for Isfahan.
In the end he said: “After Zayanderood River, Nazhvan is the second natural heritage of Isfahan garden city and it has a variety of tourist attractions such as the aquarium, the bird garden, the chairlift, the reptile garden, the butterflies' museum, the children’s water park and the Rooyesh garden.
