Mohamamad-Reza Nilforoushan as the chairman addressed IMNA reporter: this international event is for the first time held in Isfahan through the efforts of Isfahan municipality in collaboration with the Iranian scientific centers.
He invited all the citizens to attend the exhibition from 4th to 6th of August 2017, and get familiar with the latest achievements in Iran and abroad on various issues- particularly lighting technologies and also leave their comments in each field.
Further in his speech, Nilforoushan named some more programs to be held on the sidelines of the festival as following: series of specialized workshops, speeches, seminars attended by dozens of pioneering countries in the field of waste industry, and the international seminar of “Smart City".
The International Festival on New Urban Technologies is well scheduled to host people of a wide range of ages from 3 to 93 years old, Dr. Nilforoushan reminded.
Referring that 4 halls of Isfahan International Exhibition Site as well as the outdoor area will be allocated to the coming event, he explained: 22 foreign countries are stationed in the 1st hall, 4 of which will attend the site to present lectures and their achievements only, and the other 18 countries are going to exhibit their new technologies on urban management in the existing 29 booths.
He continued: the second exhibition hall will host 211 knowledge-based companies to exhibit the most advanced technologies. Some biggest Iranian institutes such as "Jahad Daneshgahi" as an Iranian academic center for education, culture and research, and "Defence Industry" etc. will be present at the third hall of the exhibition to introduce their achievements on urban management.
Some more urban management equipment which are not included in the exhibition’s context, will be on display outside in the parking area of the site, he added.
Chairman of the festival introduced the forth hall as being the venue for a group of Marathon Playing from Isfahan university in cooperation with citizens’ committee and Isfahan Cultural-Recreational Organization from 16 provinces. They will create 16 internet games in realms of urban management.
Urban managers are supposed to interactively discuss with the companies and the young in person to resolve some issues, Nilforoushan stated.
He once again mentioned the festival's goal as marketing for new urban technologies, saying: picturing the science ranking of the country to the whole world is another purpose of the oncoming festival and exhibition because Iran is scientifically standing at a good position and needs widespread support.
