According to the statement, the latest operation brings the total number of American MQM-170 drones captured by Iranian forces to four.
The IRGC also announced that its forces had tracked and destroyed the 55th advanced American MQ-9 drone in the airspace east of the Strait of Hormuz.
The interception was carried out by a newly developed air defense system belonging to the IRGC Aerospace Force and operating within Iran's integrated air defense network.
Describing the operations as another failure for Washington, the IRGC said the United States had once again failed to achieve its objectives through the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The statement also referred to US Central Command commander Brad Cooper, saying the latest developments had added another chapter to what it described as his record of failures.
The IRGC further noted that Iranian forces had previously captured 14 American MQ-1 drones.

The latest developments follow earlier reports of MQM-170 drone recoveries by IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force units in the western Strait of Hormuz and over Qeshm Island in recent days.
The MQM-170, manufactured by US-based Griffon Aerospace, was originally designed for aerial target and decoy missions. The aircraft has also been used by American forces in operations involving the assessment of air defense capabilities.
Since the beginning of the US-Israeli war against Iran in February, Iranian air defense forces have reported destroying or capturing numerous American MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 unmanned aerial vehicles.
The IRGC said the latest operations demonstrated the effectiveness of Iran's electronic warfare capabilities and integrated air defense systems in countering American drone deployments over the Persian Gulf and the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
