The Shanghai Art Collections Museum and the city's municipality hold an exhibition called” Discovering the Colorful World on the Silk Road” in which the children's paintings of various countries will be displayed.
Isfahan (IMNA) - The aim behind this exhibition is to introduce the silk road to the world through paintings. 18 isfahani children's painting also will be exhibited to the public from August 22 to September 22, 2018 at the Shanghai Art Collections Museum.
Saying that painting of 18 Isfahani children at the age of six to thirteen years old have been sent to the "Colorful Silk Road" exhibition, Azade Karimi, the secretary of the children paint center said: "It was originally intended that all Iranian children's painting be present in this exhibition, but thankfully, this call was only sent for Isfahan's children; Because Isfahani children have a strong connection and familiarity with museums and exhibitions and have creative mindsets.
The Secretary of the children paint center of Isfahan continued, "The point highlighted in the paintings of these children was the cultural connection that children imagined between various countries. It was interesting for them to know how China interacted with Iran and India in the past; for example they realized that people were traveling with animals at that time, so they drew what they heard about the Silk Road in their paintings. The interesting point regarding the painting was that all of them were colorful and very beautiful because children tried to illustrate different cultures through colors."
The exhibition will be held from August 22 to September 22, 2018 at the Shanghai Art Collections Museum
