Gaza: A Showcase of New War Crimes, Says Iranian Red Crescent Society Chief

Pirhossein Koulivand, the Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), highlights the severe psychological damage caused by explosions and destructions in Gaza, calling it an exhibition of new war crimes in the world. Koulivand made these remarks during a meeting with Vincent Cassard, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Iran.

Iran (IMNA) - Cassard expressed concern over the inability of joint actions by the Committee of the Red Cross and the Palestinian Red Crescent to sufficiently alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza, considering it a moral failure for international assemblies that cannot end these conflicts.

At the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two organizations, Cassard praised the valuable humanitarian activities of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in West Africa and emphasized the need for increased cooperation to better serve the people.

Both the Red Cross and the Iranian Red Crescent share common goals in Gaza and are working towards ending hostilities and ensuring aid reaches the affected population. Koulivand also addressed the lack of facilities and medical and pharmaceutical resources in Gaza, which has led to an increase in casualties.
