Iranian Intelligence Ministry Foils Daesh Plot, Kills Two Terrorists Connected to Kerman Attack

Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced on Friday that it successfully neutralized a potential terrorist operation by killing two Daesh militants linked to the recent attack in Kerman.

Iran (IMNA) - These terrorists were responsible for orchestrating and carrying out the deadly explosions on January 3rd, resulting in the loss of 94 lives and injuries to 211 others.

According to the Ministry's statement, the two Takfiri terrorists had entered Iran shortly after the Kerman incident with intentions to launch another attack. However, they were cornered by the Ministry's forces, leading to a fatal exchange of fire resulting in their deaths.

Intelligence Ministry Thwarts Terrorist Plot in Kerman, Seizes Weapons Cache

The Intelligence Ministry announced today that it has successfully thwarted a terrorist plot in Kerman. The two individuals involved, identified as "non-Iranian nationals," had devised a two-stage scenario aimed at attacking a local police station and impeding the arrival of reinforcements. Thankfully, both plans were foiled by authorities.

According to an official statement, the Ministry discovered and neutralized the terrorists while confiscating a significant arsenal of weaponry. Among the seized items were two powerful homemade bombs weighing 20 kilograms, 10 electric detonators, four non-electric detonators, a US MP4 machine gun with eight magazines and 278 cartridges, an AK-47 machine gun with five magazines and 181 cartridges, seven hand grenades, two cameras capable of normal and night vision, two transceivers, three remote controllers, 12 meters of wire with gunpowder and electric fuses, as well as various other related equipment.

This successful operation serves as a testament to the vigilance and effectiveness of the Intelligence Ministry in safeguarding the security of the nation against potential threats.

Ministry of Intelligence Apprehends Key Daesh-Khorasan Leaders and Foils Terrorist Plots

In a major breakthrough, the Ministry of Intelligence has successfully apprehended Mohammad Imran Tanvir, known as "Abu Imran," a notorious bomb-making specialist and prominent leader of the Daesh-Khorasan group. This group is affiliated with the internationally recognized terrorist organization, Daesh Takfiri.

Additionally, the Intelligence Ministry forces have also detained another high-ranking member of the terrorist group, identified as "Mahtab." Currently undergoing rigorous interrogation, Mahtab entered the country disguised as a worker, highlighting the group's deceptive tactics.

Furthermore, the ministry's statement reveals that several other dangerous terrorists have been apprehended. Among them are key Daesh leaders who were actively planning to carry out acts of terror in various parts of the country, including the sacred city of Mashhad.

These successful operations by the Ministry of Intelligence underscore the relentless efforts to combat terrorism and ensure the safety and security of the nation.
