Iranian Comrade of Martyred General Soleimani Martyred in Israeli Airstrike

In a tragic incident on Monday, Mousavi, a comrade of the late Iranian anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, was martyred in a terrorist Israeli airstrike in a Damascus neighborhood. This comes after the assassination of Martyr General Soleimani in a US drone strike in Iraq back in January 2020.

Over the past few days, funeral processions were held to honor the martyred advisor of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) at the shrines of Sayyida Zaynab and Sayyida Ruqayya in Damascus, as well as at the shrine of Imam Ali, the first Shia Imam, in the sacred Iraqi city of Najaf.

Mousavi's final resting place will be at the Imamzadeh Saleh shrine in northern Tehran.
