Iran, Syria Unite Against Israel's War Crimes in Gaza

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed Iran and Syria's shared commitment to ending Israel's war crimes and genocide in Gaza during a meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad.

Iran (IMNA) - The discussion took place on Monday as part of the Tehran International Conference on Palestine, which Mekdad attended in Iran. Amir-Abdollahian praised Damascus' unwavering stance on the ongoing situation in Gaza and Palestine, highlighting the mutual support between Iran and Syria in addressing regional issues. The conflict in Gaza was triggered by Hamas' Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a response to Israel's long-standing campaign of violence and devastation in Palestine.

Israeli Aggression Kills Over 20,000 Palestinians, Traps Many Under Rubble

In a tragic turn of events, the recent Israeli aggression has claimed the lives of at least 20,674 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. The onslaught has left another 54,536 individuals wounded, while countless bodies remain buried under rubble.

Adding to the misery, the Tel Aviv regime has imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, severing vital resources such as fuel, electricity, food, and water from the more than two million Palestinians residing there.

Meanwhile, Abbas Amir-Abdollahian, an Iranian official, commended the progress made in establishing security and stability in Syria. He also expressed Iran's unwavering support for the expansion of Syria's sovereignty across its entire territory.
