"Millions of Iranians Unite in Nationwide Protests Against Global Arrogance on National Day of Resistance"

Millions of Iranians took part in nationwide demonstrations to mark the anniversary of the US embassy takeover, commonly referred to as the Den of Espionage, on what is known as National Day against the Global Arrogance.

Iran (IMNA) - The protests commenced in Tehran at 09:00 a.m. local time (0530 GMT) and spread to approximately 800 cities and towns across Iran.

In Tehran, demonstrators gathered outside the former US embassy, chanting slogans such as "Down with the US" and "Down with Israel," expressing their discontent towards what they perceive as "Global Arrogance."

Along the demonstration routes, numerous stalls and pavilions were set up to showcase the alleged crimes and atrocities committed by Western nations, particularly the United States, against Iran and other countries worldwide.

The takeover of the American embassy in Tehran occurred 44 years ago on November 4, less than a year after the US-backed Pahlavi dictatorship was toppled by the Islamic Revolution in 1979. In Iran, this event is commonly referred to as the "Den of Espionage."

This occasion is now recognized as the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance and coincides with National Student Day. Every year, on the 13th day of the Iranian month of Aban, the Iranian nation, especially students, commemorate this day by organizing rallies throughout the country. They call upon Muslims and freedom-seeking nations worldwide to resist arrogant powers and not succumb to their bullying tactics.

The 13th of Aban has become a symbolic day of resistance and fierce opposition to Western imperialism. It serves as a reminder of Iranian students' vigilance in the face of threats from the United States.
