Israeli Regime Accused of Gifting Palestinian Children with Deadly Weapons on Children's Day

In a recent statement, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kan'ani, expressed grave concern over the Israeli regime's actions towards Palestinian children. Kan'ani accused Israel of engaging in airstrikes that resulted in the deaths of numerous Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip.

Iran (IMNA) - According to Kan'ani, on Children's Day (October 8), the Israeli regime allegedly presented Palestinian children in Gaza with deadly gifts in the form of bombs, missiles, and fire. He claimed that these gifts tragically claimed the lives of more than 90 innocent children within the past two days.

Highlighting the significance of Children's Day, celebrated annually in Iran under the auspices of UNICEF, Kan'ani emphasized the importance of safeguarding the future of Palestine, which he believes lies in the hands of today's children. He further asserted that the Zionist regime has long been apprehensive of the potential of Palestinian children in shaping the destiny of their land.

Kan'ani concluded his statement by stressing the universal right of all children to live without discrimination, as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

The Israeli strikes were initiated as a response to the surprise attack by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group, known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. Hamas claims that their operation was prompted by Israel's continuous violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and the escalating settler violence.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the Israeli strikes have resulted in the tragic loss of 704 Palestinian lives, including 143 children and 105 women. These numbers highlight the devastating impact of the attacks on the civilian population.

Iran has expressed its support for the Palestinian operation, stating that it is a legitimate and natural response to the crimes committed by the Tel Aviv regime against the oppressed Palestinian nation.
