Iran (IMNA) - For most of the world’s Muslim communities, the holy month of Ramadan has been spent in isolation and global quarantine this year, with holy places closed due to the coronavirus.
As Eid al fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, arrives today many Muslim communities are holding online events starting on May 24 to commemorate this religious festival.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, announced today as Ei-al-Fitr after receiving multiple reports from reliable religious scholars on the sighting of the Shawwal moon.
President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Eid al-Fitr to all Iranians, wishing that God would accept their fasting, prayers and good deeds.
IMNA’s press team wish you a Happy Eid. May God opens the doors of joy, peace and prosperity for you.
