Isfahan municipality carrying out best endeavors to curb Coronavirus

The mayor of Isfahan appreciated people’s cooperation and support in such a critical condition of coronavirus outbreak and added, "People's combined efforts can persuade officials to do more intervening measures so that we can curb the spread of COVID-19 through collective behavior."

Iran (IMNA) - The mayor of Isfahan appreciated people’s cooperation and support in such a critical condition of coronavirus outbreak and added, "People's combined efforts can persuade officials to do more intervening measures so that we can curb the spread of COVID-19 through collective behavior."

"It's not easy for people to change their lifestyle and stay at home," Ghodratollah Norouzi said.

"We're trying to make it easier for people to stay home, so the municipality has provided a number of cultural and educational programs, some of which have been released via footages and being available to the public. We hope that by observing preventive practices, we will be able to show perfect collective behavior in order to achieve s uccess at controlling the spread of deadly coronavirus,” the mayor noted.

Referring to the efforts made to combat the coronavirus, Ghodratollah Norouzi said, “the latest practices are to get preparing 50 educational projects to take advantage of cyberspace and online shopping.”

He continued, "Currently, instructions are being prepared for various municipal departments and agencies, chain stores and all places where it is possible for citizens to gather, so that we can implement a social distance plan respectively."

He added, "The municipality regards continuous disinfecting alleys and passages as a duty; with good facilities and mobilization of 5,000 phalanxes of sanitation workers, Isfahan municipality is carrying out its best endeavors to curb the coronavirus.”

Ghodratollah Norouzi emphasized, “the continuity of citizen’s cooperation will create a good atmosphere in the city so that businessmen and guilds whose jobs have been closed due to the spread of the virus will return to normal working conditions.”
