Finding fish fossils in this area indicates that Martian Mountains were under water in the past time. These mountains are also known as Merrikhi Mountains or Miniature mountains.
The color, appearance, shape, and material of the mountains are very strange. The geometric patterns of the mountains have been created by rapid soil erosion caused by heavy rain and wind. The mountains are made of sedimentary rocks with a grayish white color.
You are not faced with an equal mountain range; the height of mountains varies between 5 to 100 meters. People used the mountains to make cement and brick, so they have an economic function.
