Iranian students succumb to burn injuries

Three Iranian students out of four sustaining burns during a Thursday fire at a school in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchistan succumbed to burns.

Isfahan (IMNA) - Early morning a fire broke out in a pre-school center and an elementary school in capital Zahedan. All the students evacuated the buildings, except four who were sustaining serious burns and were taken to hospital.

The burns affected 90 percent of their bodies, putting them in critical condition. A few hours after being taken to the hospital, despite doctor's efforts three of the students passed away. Investigations into the cause of the incident are underway.
