Isfahan became child-friendly capital of Iran

"According to the signed cooperation document between the Interior Ministry and UNICEF, Isfahan is determined as a pilot and the child-friendly capital of Iran," deputy of urban planning & architecture of Isfahan municipality said.

Isfahan (IMNA ) – "The second cooperation document between the Interior Ministry and The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF)  was signed with the presence of Will Parks, the UNICEF representative in Iran, Shojaee Kiasari, the head of Information center and International Affairs, and the mayor of Isfahan in the place of the Interior Ministry," Seyed Ahmad Hosseini Nia said.

"As mentioned in this international document, Isfahan will be the best example of the child-friendly city for other provinces; its experiences in this regard will be transferred to other cities as well," he added.

"Under the supervision of the Interior Ministry, the Organization of Municipalities, and the country's Dehyaris, the second international document has undertaken to use the international capacities and the experiences of other leading countries in the world in order to change Isfahan to the best model of child-friendly city in Iran," he continued. "It was agreed that Isfahan municipality will provide the necessary context to fulfill the objectives referred in this document," he also said.
