Worn-Out cabs off the road

Managing director of the Isfahan Taxi Services Organization said one of the main plans of the organization is to reduce the lifespan of the taxi service fleet by withdrawal and retirement of the worn out cabs.

Isfahan (IMNA) - "Over the past two years, 1,200 worn out cabs have been withdrawn from the taxi fleet and over 1100 worn out taxis have also been renovated," Manuchehri, the managing director of the Isfahan Taxi Services Organization said. He added, "One of the achievements of the organization was the withdrawal of 1500 worn out taxis from the fleet; however, the modernization of the taxi fleet requires the cooperation of domestic automobile manufacturers and banks to provide the facilities."
 

He continued, "Now, until the cooperation of the Iran Khodro Industrial Group, taxi drivers can apply for special offers for Ario and Brilliance vehicles." Manuchehri stressed, "During summer, Isfahan Taxi Services Organization aims to provide the high quality services in recreational centers, shopping and tourism sites, as well as passenger terminals.
